A Fabulous Saturday

Apple Dumplings
from Candlelight Celebrations St. Thomas Episcopal Church cookbook

Serves 16
          
                                    2 (8-count) packages crescent rolls        1 cup sugar
16 peeled apple slices                             1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup butter                                         Cinnamon to taste

  • Unroll crescent roll dough.  Separate into triangles.  Wrap each apple slice with 1 portion of dough.  Arrange in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Melt butting in a saucepan.  Stir in sugar and orange juice.  Pour over apple dumplings.  Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.  Serve warm.
